HIGHLAND TOWER

 HIGHLAND TOWER

The Highland Towers breakdown was a high rise breakdown that happened because of a significant avalanche on 11 December 1993 in Taman Hillview, Ulu Klang, in Selangor, Malaysia. The breakdown of the Highland Towers' Block 1 brought about 48 passings. The other two squares were totally cleared because of wellbeing concerns. At the hour of the breakdown, the Highland Towers complex comprised of three comparable 13-story squares, worked in stages somewhere in the range of 1974 and 1982. They were worked at the western base of a steeply slanted slope, which was terraced widely in the mid 1980s.

These pinnacles were home to rich white collar class families; a sizeable level of the inhabitants were exiles. Square 1, the southern-most square, was worked in 1977. Square 2, north-northwest of Block 1, was worked in 1979 and was tough from the other two squares. Square 3, west of Block 2, was worked in 1981. A pool was situated between the northwest side of Block 2 and the upper east back of Block 3. Following ten back to back long stretches of precipitation, an avalanche demolished the holding divider behind the main square's vehicle leave.
