Hi guys, behold my first entry of the month

SARAWAK

 'Land of the Hornbill'



         Yes, this is what my first blog going to be. Most of the people proud of where they from no matter what. It shows who they are. Most of people know about Sarawak. Maybe they know the surface of it. Let me bring you on a journey to my state and best thing that you can do in Sarawak.



  1. The Sarawak's White Rajah

The Sarawak's White Rajah, a three-generation of British Dynasty have ruled Sarawak for 105 years from 1841 until 1946. Sarawak is the only state in Malaysia with A White Rajah ruler.

 The man who started the dynasty was James Brooke when he came to island of Borneo in 1838 after he gaining a territory from the Sultan of Brunei.

The successor develop Sarawak in differently to the rest of the Malaya (now Malaysia). The Astana located at north bank of Sarawak River at Kuching, Sarawak.

2. Damai Beach, Kuching, Sarawak

Backdrop of a hill covered with a thick forest and decorated with orange, hot sand that will warm your skin up with that warm and chill sensation added with a beautiful scenery of a sunset.

The beach is belong to Damai Beach Resort, where you can enjoy your holiday or weekend with the luxury 5-star hotel. Clear your mind and enjoy the comforts. Make sure to bring your sunscreen because the are tons of sun loungers out there.

More activites such as jungle trekking and hiking can be done. Enjoy the view of Mount Santubong and the beauty of the nature.


3. Sarawak's best caves in Niah, Sarawak.

Niah Cave is located near to Miri City ( where I'm from) about 1 hour 15 minutes from the city. There are many cave system such as 'Great Cave' which 3.5 km from the headquarters.

Along the way you will found yourself at the 'Painted Cave' where the famous cave painting are located. It's really hard to see but when your eyes are accustommed with the light.


There are many thing to do in Sarawak. Sarawak is mainly nature-kind of state where you feel the connection with nature aside of the busy, compact city vibes. Hope you guys enjoy this blog and probably have a chance to visit Sarawak.
